    Palomino Blackwing 602 Pencil Review

I have been wanting to try the Palomino Blackwing 602 Pencil for a long time. I’ve heard so many people talk about how they are great pencils to use for art. Obviously, as a person who does art, I wanted to see what made them so special. There was only one problem. I’ve said in the past I am not particularly fussy when it comes to writing tools. It if works I’ll use it. There is one exception to this, I hate using regular pencils. I hate that you have to sharpen them, I hate that the lead wears down, and in many cases breaks meaning you have to sharpen…

My Favourite Pens For Bullet Journaling

The only thing I like talking about more than bullet journaling is what pens I use when I’m bullet journaling. If you’re anything like me you probably have a whole stash of pens. Over the last few years, Fran has been working on a series of planners. And I’m here today to review version two of her Open Yearly Planner. Honestly, I’m so excited that I can actually do this. Like I said I’ve been watching Fran’s videos for years. It’s been fascinating watching Frans life over that time, moving from Belgium to Hastings and then on to New York. FranNerd has documented this whole process on her YouTube channel along with…

Final Week Before Assessment | Art School Diary #13

The final week before my semester one hand in date was quite hectic. With two projects needing to be finished not to mention an essay which still hadn’t been written. Being my first hand in at art school this was quite stressful, coming into the course from college made it hard knowing what level the lecturers expect you to be, when it comes to your work. But I’m glad to say I coped with the week, CFS problems and all. STAYING ORGANISED I know I just said this week was stressful, but that isn’t quite the truth. One of the most important things I learned at college was time management.…
