7 Creative Hobbies You Need To Try

I am a designer and as such, I have many creative hobbies. I love having these hobbies because it allows me to be creative without worrying about deadlines or trying to please specific people. But having creative hobbies has also helped me with my design work. So today I wanted to do something a little different and share some creative hobbies you can try. I’ve tried to select a broad range of hobbies in terms of cost and the skill you need to get started. I think especially while lockdown continues, and the fact this pandemic could be around for a good while yet, it’s a good idea to have…

The Best Art Supplies For Bullet Journaling

I’ve mentioned in the past how I use my bullet journal as a place to work through ideas. I know I don’t like using a sketchbook as a bullet journal. But my bullet journal still comes in handy when I’m working on design projects. So today I thought I would share what I think are the best art supplies for bullet journaling.  I try to avoid having elaborate bullet journal spreads. Between all the stress of coursework and managing a chronic illness, it seems I forgot to enjoy my time at university. Between learning about the darkroom process this week and working on an editorial project it all just clicked. I really do enjoy graphic design and I’m glad I applied to university. It’s the reason why this flare-up of my CFS is so frustrating. Because I don’t want to be stuck at home all the time. I want to be in the studio working around others and taking…

Photography & Essay Writing | Art School Diary #10

It’s been another quiet week. My CFS has still been giving me problems so I’ve spent most of my time resting and trying to catch up with sketchbook work. Fortunately, I’ve managed to get a letter from my doctor and an appointment with disability services. I don’t know if there is much my uni can do to help, but at least I won’t get in bother for missing class. This week I have been trying out photography and learning about the darkroom process. As well as doing more work for my current project and context module. PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP One of the most exciting things to happen this week was an…
