The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron – Will It Help You Be Creative?

The Artist’s Way is one of these books I had heard people talking about, but never went much further than that. That was until I learned more about the process, and the routine of journaling, or writing morning pages every morning.  Over the years I have had to deal with anxiety and imposter syndrome, specifically related to my art. After learning about how journaling is incorporated into this process. Something I’ve been doing for years. I knew I had to give The Artist’s Way a try and see if it helped my creative process.  About The Artist’s Way The Artist’s Way, originally published in 1992, has become a cult-classic self-help-styled…

The Notebooks come in a number of different…

Today I have a review of the Kikki.k 365 Day Journal. Recently I challenged myself to journal every day. I like writing challenges because they force you to get into a habit and personally I’ve found writing everyday has really helped my mental health. The only downside I’ve found is where and how to store this journaling. KIKKI.K 365 DAY JOURNAL I’ve tried a few online apps which haven’t worked great. I know for this sort of writing challenge I prefer writing physically in a notebook. So a little while ago I was in the Kikki.K shop at Euston Station and came across this 365 Day Journal and I think…

    How To Make A Notebook

I love the A5 fabric journals from Paperchase and this month I decided to try and make my own. This is not going to be a tutorial as I used the videos on Sea Lemon‘s channel, but instead I am going to share what changes I made. I used the DIY Tom Riddle’s Diary tutorial but you should also check out the How to Make a Text Block tutorial if you want to try making your own diary. BOOKBINDING TUTORIAL In the video Sea Lemon uses leather, I decided to use cotton, or at least I thought I was going to be using cotton. I wanted to use Liberty of London…
