FranNerd Yearly Planner Review & Haul

FranNerd is an illustrator and designer currently working in New York. I originally came across Fran on YouTube about 5 years ago where she makes videos sharing her illustrations and life. Over the last few years, Fran has been working on a series of planners. And I’m here today to review version two of her Open Yearly Planner. Honestly, I’m so excited that I can actually do this. Like I said I’ve been watching Fran’s videos for years. It’s been fascinating watching Frans life over that time, moving from Belgium to Hastings and then on to New York. FranNerd has documented this whole process on her YouTube channel along with…

    MUJI 2017-18 Planner Review

I feel like I’m constantly jumping from one planner to another. The type of planner I use depends on my needs, and just now I need a planner which helps stay organised with school. I tried out the Study Planner from Paperchase which didn’t turn out too well. But a little while ago I ordered a planner from Muji, this was originally going to be a blog planner but I’ve since changed to using it as an academic planner. MUJI 2017-18 PLANNER I admit I’m quite picky when it comes to planners. As much as I love the look of something like the Happy Planner, or the Erin Condren, I…

    Paperchase Study Planner Review

I am now in the second year of my graphic design course which means I need a planner that works for my needs. I’ve used many planners but none have been quite right. Recently I came across the Study Planner which is part of Paperchases’ back to school range and I thought it would be great if I could keep my academic work separate from everything else. However this planner turned out to not be as useful as I had originally thought. PAPERCHASE STUDY PLANNER The study planner is a ring bound planner, its slightly larger than A5 size and has plastic front and back covers. This is great for…

    Constellations Dokibook Unboxing

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I was changing up my organisation system and how I use my bullet journal. As part of that I wanted to move all my blog related things to a separate planner. Because of this I started doing some research into ring bound planners and came across Dokibook. DOKIBOOK RINGBOUND PLANNER Dokibook is a company based in China who make ring binders similar to the Kikki.K and Filofax. I admit I was a little dubious at first because this was coming from China but I came across a number of people in the UK who have ordered from them. Fortunately I had nothing to…

Iconic | Seize The Day Planner | Review

I’m a little picky when it comes to planners, I think it’s the reason why I love the bullet journal so much because you can set it up exactly how you want it. I love my bullet journal, especially the way I currently have it set up, but that takes time which I don’t always have. So I decided to do a little research into undated planners and eventually came across this Seize The Day planner by Iconic. SEIZE THE DAY PLANNER Iconic make two different versions of this planner, you can get the daily planner which has 12 undated monthly pages and 120 undated daily pages. Or you can get…
