The Stationery Selection | October Box Review

Today I’m going to share an unboxing of the October edition of the Stationery Selection box. This subscription box comes straight from Japan and is full of interesting pieces of stationery which you won’t find on the high street. THE STATIONERY SELECTION Like I said. The Stationery Selection boxes feature Japanese stationery. Mits who runs the subscription service is based in Japan so you can be sure to get some unique items. The box is $35 with shipping ranging from $10 to $13. I should also note that for this particular box I had to pay another £12 in import fees. I’m not sure if this is the norm for…

Gemma Correll | Papergang Mindfullness Box

Today I’m going to review the September Papergang subscription box. The theme for this month’s box was mindfulness and the featured illustrator was Gemma Correll. I’m going to be totally transparent here. I only got this box because I forgot to cancel my subscription after the August Iraville box. ABOUT PAPERGANG Papergang is a monthly subscription box run by Ohh Deer. Every month they feature an illustrator who creates artwork to be placed on various stationery items. The Stationery Selection | September Box

I came across a new stationery subscription box recently which I just had to try out. The Stationery Selection is a box full of specially curated Japanese stationery items. This box ships directly from Japan so you can be sure you’re getting a well thought out box direct from the source. This particular box is the September edition. It cost me $39 for the box and around $7 for postage. So around £33 in British money. This is quite a bit more expensive compared to the Papergang boxes. But it’s hard to say if that is worth the money. I should mention that the shipping was very good. This was…

Papergang Subscription | August Iraville Box

Today I am going to share an unboxing of the August Papergang subscription. This month Papergang’s featured illustrator was Iraville. This is someone who I have followed on Instagram and Youtube for years. I literally jumped at the chance to get some of her artwork. Mostly because I couldn’t afford any of her original pieces in her Etsy store. ABOUT PAPERGANG Papergang is a monthly subscription box run by OhhDeer. Every month they send out a box full of stationery bits, like cards, washi tape, notebooks and other items. OhhDeer was started as a way to highlight illustrators and the Papergang box features a different illustrator every month. This month…

Stationery Haul | MD Paper Notebook & Diary

This week I am going to share a few a little stationery haul. This all started when I got an email from The Journal Shop about their summer sale. The Journal Shop is a UK based website and they sell some of the more obscure brands which aren’t really found on the UK high street. Brands like Midori and MD Paper. These are both companies I’ve come across before but never bought any of their products. MD PAPER NOTEBOOK The MD Paper Products are Japanese notebooks which according to the website use the inherent appeal of paper to enhance the writing experience. The Notebooks come in a number of different…
