Moleskine Review | The Hobbit Limited Edition

I don’t think I will ever find a notebook I’m totally happy with. I’ve tried numerous different notebooks over the years. But this Moleskine is certainly the closest thing I’ve come to so far. I have bought many notebooks over the last two years and there is two things I’ve learned. I don’t like ring bound notebooks (which this obviously isn’t) and I prefer thin paper. MOLESKINE HOBBIT EDITION The paper was actually the thing that made me love this notebook so much. It’s very thin but I can still use my favorite pens (even the Staedtler fineliner) without any bleed through. There is some slight shadowing, especially with the…

Review | A5 Dot Grid Notebook

After finishing my Paperchase notebook at the end of August I needed something to replace it. I am quite picky when it comes to notebooks. I use them as a planner/ blogging notebook/ commonplace book so prefer them to have a high page count as I go through them pretty quick. It also has to be pretty robust as I would be taking it to college with me every day. After hours of research I came across the Dot Grid notebook from dotgrid.co. A5 DOTGRID NOTEBOOK REVIEW These wirebound notebooks are made in the UK, they feature 96 sheets (192 pages) of 104gsm paper, with a 350gsm matt laminated cover. The…

How I Use The Bullet Journal Method

A few weeks ago I posted about my blogging notebook, I’ve recently started using my notebook as a bullet journal as well. I really don’t do any journalling but as a way of staying organised I’ve found this to be really helpful. BULLET JOURNAL INDEX I post four times a week here and though the calendar helps to schedule posts I’ve found that bullet journalling is a great way of listing out all the things I need to do every day. I normally leave the first page of my notebooks blank so it was really easy to add in an index. Actually I don’t know why I haven’t thought of this…

A Look Inside My Blogging Notebook

Way back on my blogging essentials post I mentioned I have a notebook in which I take notes, write blog posts, make lists and plan out my posting schedule. Well I thought since this notebook is nearly full I would show you guys how I use my notebook. MY BLOGGING NOTEBOOK This is an A5 flexi journal from Paperchase and I really love it, my only problem is its a bit more beat up than what I would expect for something that has lived on my desk for over a year. This is especially annoying since it’s not what I would consider a “cheap” notebook. On the inside cover I store…

    How To Make A Notebook

I love the A5 fabric journals from Paperchase and this month I decided to try and make my own. This is not going to be a tutorial as I used the videos on Sea Lemon‘s channel, but instead I am going to share what changes I made. I used the DIY Tom Riddle’s Diary tutorial but you should also check out the How to Make a Text Block tutorial if you want to try making your own diary. BOOKBINDING TUTORIAL In the video Sea Lemon uses leather, I decided to use cotton, or at least I thought I was going to be using cotton. I wanted to use Liberty of London…
