My Favourite Art & Stationery Supplies
You might be surprised to hear this, but I’m at the point now where I don’t buy huge amounts of stationery. For the most part, I’ve figured out the stationery items and art tools which work for me. This means I don’t go looking for new stationery bits, I just buy more of what I know I like. So today I thought it could be interesting to share my favourite art and stationery supplies. MD Paper notebook I love my MD Paper notebooks. I have written about them extensively over the years and I’ve bought at least 2 or 3. These notebooks have held up to pretty much everything I’ve…

Are Muji Pens Overrated? A Gel Pen Comparison
I haven’t properly been in the blogosphere for a while. One of the interesting things which happened during my time away was how the stationery/ studyblr community collectively moved away from the Muji gel pens as a ‘must-have’ stationery item. The answer is complicated because it would be impossible…

What Is A Commonplace Book & How To Use It
I want to talk about something a little different today. I know my blog mostly focuses on bullet journals. But there are also other forms of journaling out there. One type of journal I’ve become fascinated with recently is the commonplace book. I’ve come across people talking about commonplace books before, but I’ve always had the impression that a commonplace book was a notebook where you wrote things you wanted to remember. Though this is true, the commonplace book is a little more complicated than that. And what I find most interesting, historically had a specific purpose. So today I want to share exactly what a commonplace book is and…

Today I am going to share a review of the Field Notes Three Missions memo book set. Field Notes releases new limited edition notebook sets four times a year. FYI to any brands reading this if you want me to buy your product put a rocket ship on it. ABOUT FIELD NOTES Field Notes is a company started by Aaron Draplin. They specialise in small, memo style notebooks. Similar to the old memo books that people used to use. All of the Field Notes products are made in the USA and…
