    London Stationery Shops & Haul

It has taken me a whole three months to finish this video but I’m finally sharing my trip to London where I visited two of my favourite London stationery shops; London Graphics Center and Choosing Keeping. This isn’t the first time I’ve visited London Graphics. I have a whole post about the shop from a few years ago. It is mainly an art store, located in central London, not far away from Covent Garden. But it also has a huge range of stationery supplies. I highly recommend you check out that post to find out more, but if you’re looking for Traveller’s Company branded items, or Midori products in general,…

My Digital Commonplace System ~ Studio Diary #8

In this studio diary I am in Glasgow to visit the Botanic Gardens. I’ve spent so much time in this part of Glasgow over the years and somehow never went to the Botanic Gardens. I’m kicking myself after finally getting to visit. I love seeing the glasshouses (especially after visiting Belfast a few years ago). There was also a second hand book sale on the weekend I was visiting which was well worth a visit. There was lots of ephemera on sale, postcards, photographs and newspapers, as well as lots of books. I ended up buying a few illustrations taken from a larger book which have worked well as a…

My Game of Thrones Tour of Belfast

Today I thought I would share my recent trip to Belfast. I love Belfast and it has been a good few years since I was last there. Since my last trip, Belfast and Northern Ireland as a whole have become a popular place to visit for Game of Thrones fans.  I have to admit I’m not a massive Game of Thrones fan. I’ve read 4 of the books and stopped watching the TV show somewhere around season 5. Over the last few months, several different Game of Thrones related exhibits have appeared around Belfast as a way to celebrate season 8.   I didn’t travel to Belfast to visit all the…

My First Ever Solo Trip To London

At the start of the year, I took my first ever solo trip to London. I’ve had day trips to London by myself in the past but never actually stayed there on my own. I thought I would share the whole experience because it was something totally new to me. In the end, I really enjoyed this experience and I’m glad I did it. MY FIRST SOLO TRIP TO LONDON I’ve mentioned in past blog posts that I’ve really been pushing myself to go out and experience new things even if it means I have to do that on my own. I’m quite an anxious person so going out for…

    A Festive Evening In Glasgow

A few days ago I headed down to Glasgow to meet up with some friends and check out the Christmas Market in George Square. It turned out this was the perfect way to get in a Christmassy mood, I love seeing Glasgow with all the lights and Christmas music playing. So here is what I got up to. STACK AND STILL After meeting up with my friends in Central Station we decided to have a quick bite to eat. It can be quite hard finding somewhere for food in Glasgow because there is so much choice. So I suggested Stack and Still, a new restaurant I had seen an advert…
